Dr. Matchett is a general orthopedic surgeon with special interest in Joint Replacment and Sports Medicine.

Dr. Matchett earned his undergraduate degree from Indiana University.  He attended medical school at Indiana University School of Medicine and completed an internship at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.  His orthopaedic training was at Miami Valley Hospital and Wright State University combined program.  After graduating in 1984, he began his practice with Central Indiana Orthopedics.  Dr. Matchett is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine.  Dr. Matchett has been the Team Physician for Ball State University Football and Basketball since 1987.
