Dr. Surtani is a general orthopedic surgeon with special interest in Shoulder Surgery and Sports Medicine.

Dr. Surtani earned his undergraduate degree from Southern Methodist University.  He attended medical school at the University of Texas at San Antonio and completed an internship at the Indiana University Medical Center.  His orthopaedic training was at the Indiana University School of Medicine.  After graduating in 1996, he completed Sports Medicine Fellowship from the Center for Athletic Medicine in Chicago.  After completing his fellowship, he began his practice in Waukegan, Illinois and joined Central Indiana Orthopedics in 1998.  Dr. Surtani is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.
