P. Jamieson Kay, M.D.

Dr. Kay graduated from the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana, with his Doctor of Medicine degree. Following medical school, he completed an internship in general surgery and his residency in orthopedic surgery at Indiana University Health Center in Indianapolis. He is an experienced sports medicine physician, previously serving as the team physician for the Indy Premier Soccer Club Classic. Board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, he’s been practicing at Central Indiana Orthopedics since 2001.

Dr. Kay is certified in Mako SmartRobotics™, an innovative surgical solution for many suffering from painful arthritis of the knee or hip that enables patients to have a more predictable experience when undergoing joint replacement surgery. Not only is Dr. Kay a Mako surgeon, he’s had two Mako robotic total knee replacements himself.
